A subscriber doesn't stay put. As it drives across a wide-area system, coverage from one site fades and another grows — and the radio automatically re-registers on the stronger site's control channel, without the user ever knowing. Drag the radio across the map, or let it drive, and watch the handoff happen.
Roaming behavior follows the public P25 standard (registration, affiliation, home vs. serving system, WACN/System/Unit ID). Values are illustrative; exact site IDs and registration timers are system-specific. Not Motorola software.

What just happened
Move the radio toward Site B. When B's signal beats A's, the radio automatically re-registers on B's control channel — same RFSS, so it's seamless. Push on to Site C (a different RFSS) and watch the registration cross the ISSI to the radio's home system.
